Description

Two day Innovation Workshop: Day 1 (8th November), Day 2 (22nd November)

Designed to inspire senior decision makers of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, you will learn a new approach to innovation which puts your customer at the heart of business success.

Inventors like Thomas Edison and Steve Jobs were quintessential innovators who used a problem-solving process called “Design Thinking” to revolutionise entire industries. Focused on listening, user empathy, whole-brain thinking, collaboration, and experimentation - design thinking can be applied in any field to inspire innovation through complex problem solving.

This intensive two-day workshop immerses you in dynamic discussions, and group exercises. You’ll learn the fundamentals of design thinking to improve business performance, and establish a framework for solving challenges. The workshop will be delivered over 2 non-consecutive days to allow time for reflection and development of your business’ innovation plan.

The focus of the shared challenge during the workshop will be around the complexities of implementing innovation in the UK's health sector. Keeping us out of the healthcare system in the first place and doing better things once in that system presents one of the biggest collective challenges facing us today, and will prove an interesting discussion point to begin the Design Thinking process which everyone can contribute to.

Who should get involved?

This workshop is ideal for senior-decision makers of small and medium-sized businesses. The workshop works for businesses across all sectors from health and wellbeing companies, to manufacturing, engineering and construction, to creative, digital, and professional services.
